A commitment to environmental sustainability sits at the centre of every business process, from manufacturing through to product development, and this approach is embraced as an inseparable part of our corporate culture.
Efficient use of natural resources, optimised energy consumption and reduced environmental impact are among ONKA's priority goals. Accordingly, production processes are structured in line with international standards, and environmental impacts are managed systematically through our ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
Within the scope of the ISO 14001 standard, the aim is to reduce environmental impact, optimise the use of natural resources and continuously improve processes. Supported by the Plan–Do–Check–Act approach, this system allows ONKA to maintain full compliance with legal requirements while adopting a sustainable production model that continuously improves its environmental performance.
Sustainability is also treated as a core criterion in product development; by designing long-lasting, durable and high-performance products, we help reduce resource consumption. This approach both supports environmental responsibility and provides customers with long-term, reliable solutions.
ONKA does not limit its approach to sustainability to existing processes, but carries it into the future through innovative projects. Within the TÜBİTAK 1831 – Green Innovation Technology Mentoring Call, work is carried out to help businesses adapt to green transformation processes, analyse their environmental impact and develop sustainable production capacity.
Within the programme, the transition to more efficient and environmentally friendly production models is supported through current-state analysis, technical consultancy and solution proposals.
In line with the principle of continuous improvement, production processes are analysed regularly, efficiency-enhancing practices are implemented and an environmentally conscious approach to manufacturing is advanced further every day.
