Our Values

THE ONKA CULTURE

01

Environmental and Human Focus

At ONKA we believe that the sustainability of our operations — and our ability to pass on a healthy world to future generations — depends on fully meeting our responsibilities towards people and the environment. We therefore regard it as a core duty to review the effects of our activities on the environment and on human health regularly, and to comply with laws and standards.

02

Team Spirit

We work to make a culture of horizontal, goal-oriented collaboration part of how we do business — between colleagues, between employees and managers, and between units — in line with a process-driven management philosophy rather than a vertical hierarchy. From identifying customer needs through to delivering products and services and ensuring customer satisfaction, our management teams and employees are aware of their responsibilities, focus on the best performance as a team, and cooperate and pool their strengths to achieve it.

03

Reliability

At ONKA we stand behind our word and our commitments. We consider it our duty to supply our customers with quality products on the terms they expect and to superior standards. We listen to our stakeholders when developing our products and business processes. We work to be a dependable business partner for our employees, our customers and our suppliers. We plan our resources — and provide the support needed for implementation — in order to institutionalise solutions that deliver the highest levels of traceability, transparency and accountability.

04

Solution Focus

We engage with the requests and complaints of our internal and external stakeholders and with any problems that arise in our operations; we assess them and work to resolve them quickly. Our management team provides the support needed to develop their teams' analytical, evaluative and problem-solving capabilities. We use this capability to build a working culture that adds value for our stakeholders both inside and outside the company.

05

Quality and Efficiency Focus

We ensure that our products and services comply with national and international standards and regulations, and we attach importance to developing the technology and expertise required for quality manufacturing. In order to offer our customers value-added products on the best possible terms, we work to make efficiency-focused monitoring and development of our technology, our human-resources capabilities and our business processes part of our corporate working culture.

06

Novelty and Innovation

At ONKA we recognise that our competitiveness depends on new and innovative products. We treat it as one of our priorities to maintain our innovative outlook in pursuit of our strategic goals, and to plan the infrastructure and resources this requires. We work to develop our product range in line with our market and customer objectives.
